Yellow Fever (Certificate Only)

About This Service

This service is for travellers who have previously received a yellow fever vaccination and require an official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) — commonly known as the ‘yellow card’ — for international travel purposes. It does not include a new vaccination.

Who Is This Service For?

This service is designed for individuals who:

• Have already been vaccinated against yellow fever at a previous appointment
• Need to replace a lost or damaged yellow card
• Require official documentation to satisfy entry requirements for specific countries
• Are travelling to a country where yellow fever certification is mandatory for entry

• Review and verification of your previous vaccination records
• Issuance of an official ICVP (yellow fever certificate) where eligibility is confirmed
• Documentation accepted for international travel and border entry purposes

Eligibility Requirements

To receive a certificate through this service, you must be able to provide evidence of a prior yellow fever vaccination. Makewell is an accredited yellow fever centre, authorised to issue official certificates. Our clinician will verify your records and confirm eligibility before the certificate is issued.

Important Information

Under current WHO guidelines, a single dose of the yellow fever vaccine provides lifelong protection for most individuals and no booster is required. Your original vaccination must have been administered at a registered yellow fever vaccination centre. If you are unsure whether your previous record qualifies, contact the clinic before booking and we will advise you accordingly.
