Thorough Medical and Developmental History:
This includes information about their early development, milestones, and any concerns or challenges experienced throughout their life.
Clinical Observation and Behavioral Assessments:
Our experienced professionals conduct clinical observations and behavioral assessments to assess social interaction, communication skills, and repetitive behaviors that are indicative of autism.
Standardized Screening Tools:
We utilize standardized screening tools that are specifically designed to assess autism spectrum disorder.
Collaboration with Parents, Caregivers, and School:
We understand the importance of gathering input from parents, caregivers, and school professionals. And collaboration and communication with these individuals provide valuable insights.
What To Expect
This assessment may give the patient a confirmed diagnosis and a personalised care plan or signposting for ongoing support. Also, you will receive a full report of your assessment and the outcome. Lastly, we use the ADOS assessment tool, alongside a detailed developmental history. So your appointment may be in two parts and at least two clinicians will be involved with the assessment.
-We will need to gather information from school and parents (if a child) and directly from the patient if an adult.
-The assessment may take place over two appointments.
– A clinician should contact you within 10 days to give you the outcome of your assessment.
– Your formal report can take up to 8 weeks post assessment.

We offer a dual Autism & ADHD assessment if in doubt about which is appropriate. This combined assessment is priced at £2400.
