Profile

Hi, my name is Vicki and in my role as a Family Support Worker, I help make the patient journey as smooth and supported as possible. I work closely with patients and their families to offer information and guidance, a listening ear, and practical help throughout their care experience. I also support the assessment process by formatting and proofreading patient reports and ensuring all documents are clear, accurate, and of high quality. My aim is to provide both emotional and practical support, helping people feel cared for every step of the way.

I joined the team in 2023, and I have experience supporting children and young people in a variety of settings, including managing a Stagecoach musical theatre school, working with schools on the Extended Schools agenda, and running Youth Inclusion Programmes for 8–12-year-olds to encourage engagement in positive activities and prevent early involvement in crime.

In my personal life I am mum to a teen daughter, who certainly keeps me on my toes! I am a complete animal lover and have wonderful furry companions in the form of 2 dogs and 2 cats. I live for trips away and am always looking for the next adventure, although pets do tend to make jetting off a tad more difficult than I would like…however I wouldn’t be without them!
